Overview
SL-Shops turns the shops of Los Santos into businesses that players own and run. Every 24/7, liquor store and LTD gas station has real products on real shelves: you pick them up with your hands, carry them to the register and pay. Owners build the shop the way they want, hire staff, restock from the wholesaler, keep the cash safe from robbers and, at the LTDs, sell fuel at their own pumps.
Works with QBCore, ESX and Qbox, in English and Spanish.
Highlights
Section titled “Highlights”- Build your own shop: a renovation mode with a free camera. Buy shelves, fridges, display cases and anti-theft gates, place them where you want, choose the floors and walls, and expand the shop with two lower floors.
- Real items, not menus: every product is a physical object on its shelf. Customers take it, carry it in their hands or in a basket and pay at the counter. The item goes to their inventory.
- Three kinds of shop: 9 24/7s, 5 liquor stores and 5 LTD gas stations, each with its own interior and layout.
- Hire staff: up to 4 employees per shop with their own permissions and salary.
- Be the cashier: an employee can work the till: scan the products one by one, charge in cash or by card, take a tip and bag the purchase.
- Restocking that feels real: order stock from the shop computer, receive it at the door, at the back room racks or pick it up at the wholesale warehouse with your own vehicle.
- Cash you can lose: the money stays in the register drawers and the safe until an armored van takes it to the bank. Robbers can force the registers and grab the bills from the drawer, or crack the safe by ear.
- Shoplifting: hide products under your jacket, peel the security tags off, or walk out and set off the anti-theft gates.
- Working fuel pumps (LTD): realistic pump displays, prepay at the pump, a real hose with physics, put the nozzle in the car and fill up. The car’s fuel goes through your server’s fuel script.
- A full business: prices set by the owner, sales history, profit, losses, insurance and the shop’s own bank account on the in-game computer.
- Built to be customised: an open
config.lua, language files, and abridge/folder for your framework, inventory, police dispatch, minigames and fuel script.
The shops
Section titled “The shops”| Type | Where | What makes it different |
|---|---|---|
| 24/7 | 9 shops around the map | Our own interior with two optional lower floors (sales floor and storage room) |
| Liquor store | 5 shops | Hard security tags on the bottles and locked display cases |
| LTD gas station | 5 stations | The shop plus our own fuel pumps, hose and refuelling |
Each shop is either for sale (empty and closed until a player buys it) or a state shop (always open, full of stock and restocking by itself). You choose which in config.lua.
How a day at the shop looks
Section titled “How a day at the shop looks”- A customer walks in, picks up a cold drink from the fridge and a sandwich from the shelf.
- At the counter, the cashier scans both products, the customer pays by card and leaves a 10 % tip.
- In the back room, the owner opens the computer, sees the stock running low and orders more boxes.
- The delivery arrives at the door. An employee carries the boxes to the shelves and restocks them.
- At night someone forces the register. The owner gets the alert, the police too, and the safe stays closed.
